Before Treatment
  • Avoid using substances that affect platelet function, such as Asprin®, Advil®, and Motrin®.
  • Avoid supplement fish oil, vitamin E, and St. Johns' Wort.
  • Avoid Alcohol and Green Tea
  • Avoid dental work and dental cleanings
  • Talk with your doctors if you have previously suffered from any herpes viral infections becasue it may lead to a flare up
  • Make sure you are not pregnant or breast feeeding
After Treatment
Side effects may be redness, swelling, tenderness, discolouration, pain and itching. Effects may be dampened by...
  • Use a cold compress to reduce swelling
  • Avoid intense heat and extreme cold
  • Avoid firm preasure for two weeks
  • Avoid exercise or activities where your head is facing downwards for the first day, like gardening, or sleep on your stomach
